This combination of Fiber, Embroidery, and Glass revisits one of my most requested pieces of art::
"Virtual Lanscapes: Cycles"

Mixed Media Collage
Handmade Paper, Commercial Fabric, Paint on Birch Panel

Combining degrees in chemistry and a M.F.A. in sculpture with a love of experimentation, my aim is to add layers of meaning through each stitch and collaged element. The joy of creating with my hands and from my heart motivates each one of my works of art.

Whether fabric, fiber, glass, paper, or photography- each medium carries with it inherent, historical, and societal meanings. I aim to enlist or subvert these meanings by collaging them into a larger narrative.

Home, place, identity, and experience inform my work. Each of these themes has both steadfast and transient, eternal and delicate aspects. By using a variety of mediums, I aim to express these layers of meaning through both abstract and representational works.
